The complete archive

Past adventures.

Twenty-four field notes filed. Choose any title to open the complete story.

The map is getting suspicious

The route so far.

A rough itinerary of the places where good judgment was last seen.

The operating philosophy

Make it a story.

There is always another road, trail, lake, mountain, or completely unnecessary stunt waiting around the corner. We intend to find it.

The official unofficial record

Bloopers & near misses.

Every great archive needs a department devoted to the parts that almost worked.

Report 001

The clean buggy lasted eleven seconds.

Sandy had a beach plan. The beach had a different plan. The tires were never the same.

Report 002

The fish was not technically measured.

The tape measure got wet, the fish got away, and the story remains scientifically enormous.

Report 003

The balloon ignored the parade route.

It had a map, a rope, and several excellent instructions. It chose altitude instead.

Report 004

The ACME warranty was decorative.

The rocket did exactly what the box promised, provided the promise was interpreted very creatively.

Report 005

Robert's rodeo exit was extremely committed.

He called it a tactical retreat. The packed house called it the funniest part of the show.

Two decorated plows, a frozen course, and a finish line made of hot chocolate.

Seed / medieval

Castle siege, but politely

Courtesy, banners, and a siege engine operated according to excellent manners.
